At Vanaheim Rottweilers, our breeding program is built upon a carefully selected foundation of proven Australian and European bloodlines, chosen not only for their championship credentials, but more importantly for their temperament, health, structure, working ability and breed character.
We believe exceptional Rottweilers are the result of thoughtful breeding decisions made over generations. While show titles and championship achievements demonstrate quality, our focus extends beyond the show ring. Every dog incorporated into our breeding program is selected for the qualities that truly define the breed—sound temperament, confidence, intelligence, loyalty, trainability and structural correctness.
Our foundation female combines some of the most respected bloodlines in the international Rottweiler community, including descendants of renowned dogs such as Astor von Junipera, Multi Champion Uno vom Haus Engel, International Champion Mambo von der Crossener Ranch and VDH Champion Balou vom Silberblick. She has achieved Very Promising (VP) and Sehr Gut (SG) ratings under both Australian and international judges, including highly respected IPO judge Mr Dirk Vandecasteele, reflecting her quality, breed type and overall conformation.
Our foundation male originates from the highly regarded Australian breeding program of Petrovrotti Rottweilers and carries an equally impressive pedigree featuring legendary bloodlines including Double IFR World Champion Imperator vom Haus Zschammer, Multi Jugend Sieger Jumbo vom Kümmelsee and International and VDH Champion Noris vom Grüntenblick. These bloodlines are recognised worldwide for producing Rottweilers with exceptional character, working ability, strength and breed type.
While pedigrees provide an important foundation, they are only one piece of the puzzle. At Vanaheim Rottweilers, our breeding decisions are guided by a commitment to preserving the qualities that have made the Rottweiler one of the world’s most respected working breeds. We place significant emphasis on health, temperament, nerve strength, confidence, trainability and sound structure to ensure each generation continues to reflect the breed’s true purpose.
Our dogs are first and foremost valued members of our family. They are raised in a home environment, receive extensive socialisation and are expected to demonstrate the stable, dependable temperament that makes the Rottweiler such an exceptional companion, guardian and working dog.
